Terms of service and payments

1. Services and quotes

We offer video production and digital marketing services: photo and video, social media content and management, multi-camera live streaming, podcast, online courses and Meta Ads.

Every project is quoted in writing. The proposal states the scope, deliverables, dates, number of revisions, delivery times, price and how long it is valid. Anything not in the proposal is quoted separately.

2. Prices, currency and payment methods

• Currency: we charge in Colombian pesos (COP) and US dollars (USD). The currency of each project is stated in the proposal and on the invoice.
• Payment methods: credit or debit card, bank transfer and any other methods stated on the invoice.
• Secure payment: card payments are processed through Stripe. TatanFilms LLC does not receive or store your card details.
• Deposit: to book the date and start pre-production, a deposit of 50% of the total price is paid. The deposit is non-refundable.
• Balance: the remaining 50% is paid on the dates agreed in the proposal and, in any case, before final delivery of the material.
• Taxes: prices do not include taxes unless the proposal says otherwise.

3. Deliveries and revisions

Delivery times and the number of revision rounds are defined in each proposal. Deliveries are digital: we send the material through a download link. We do not ship physical goods.

Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope are quoted separately. Raw footage is only delivered if the proposal says so. If its delivery was not agreed, we keep each project's material for a maximum of two weeks after the digital or physical delivery.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

If the client cancels a shoot, a recording or an event:

• More than 30 days in advance: we refund what was paid, except the deposit.
• Between 30 and 15 days before: 50% of the total project price is charged.
• Less than 15 days in advance, or if the client does not show up: 100% of the total price is charged.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and to what is agreed in each proposal. Cancellations and rescheduling must be requested in writing to info@tatanfilms.com.

5. Refunds and disputes

• The deposit is non-refundable, unless TatanFilms LLC cancels the project.
• If TatanFilms LLC cancels a project for its own reasons, we refund 100% of what was paid.
• If force majeure prevents the service (for example, natural disasters or an order from an authority), we agree on a new date or refund what was paid for services not provided.
• Services already provided and material already delivered are non-refundable.
• Approved refunds are made through the same payment method, within up to 10 business days.

If you are not satisfied with a delivery, write to us at info@tatanfilms.com within 7 days of receiving it. We reply within a maximum of 5 business days and look for a solution, such as an additional revision. We ask you to contact us before opening a dispute or a chargeback with your bank.

6. Usage rights

Once the total price is paid, the client may use the delivered material for the purposes and media agreed in the proposal. TatanFilms LLC keeps the right to show the work in its portfolio and on its social media, unless confidentiality is agreed in writing.

7. Client responsibilities

• Obtain location permits and image releases from the people who appear in the material.
• Guarantee that they hold the rights to the content they give us, such as logos, music or presentations.
• For live streams, provide access to the venue and to the agreed internet connection.

8. Limitation of liability

We work with backup equipment to reduce risks. Even so, we are not liable for third-party failures beyond our control, such as the venue's internet, electrical power or streaming platforms. In any case, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Wyoming, United States, without prejudice to the rights granted to the client by the consumer protection law of their country. For any question, write to us at info@tatanfilms.com or on WhatsApp at +1 754 268 7718.
