Personal data processing policy

At TatanFilms LLC we respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights. We apply it in accordance with Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulatory decrees, because our operations take place in Colombia.

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

  • The data you give us in the site's forms, on WhatsApp or by email: name, company, email, phone, city and information about your project.
  • Data generated when you hire a service: billing details and project communications.

We do not request sensitive data or data from minors through this site. If a project requires filming people, we handle image releases separately with the client.

3. What we use it for

  • To answer your messages and send you quotes.
  • To plan, produce and deliver the projects you hire us for.
  • To invoice and meet accounting and legal obligations.
  • To send you information about our services, only if you authorize it. You can ask us to stop at any time.

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

4. How the forms work

The forms on this site do not store your data in a database of our own: when you submit them, WhatsApp or your email opens with the message ready, and the information reaches us through those channels. By checking the authorization box, you accept the processing described in this policy.

5. Providers and international transfer

To communicate and work we use third-party tools such as WhatsApp (Meta), Google Workspace for email and YouTube to show videos. These services may store information on servers outside Colombia. By using these channels, you accept that transfer, which is limited to what is needed to handle your request.

6. Your rights

As the data owner you can:

  • Know, update and correct your data.
  • Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
  • Know how we have used your data.
  • Revoke the authorization or ask us to delete your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
  • Access your personal data free of charge.
  • File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), after first submitting your inquiry or claim to us.

7. How to submit an inquiry or a claim

Write to us at info@tatanfilms.com with your name, your contact details and what you need.

  • Inquiries: we answer within a maximum of 10 business days. If we need more time, we tell you why and answer within a maximum of 5 additional business days.
  • Claims (correction, update, deletion or non-compliance): we answer within a maximum of 15 business days from the day after we receive it. If we need more time, we let you know and answer within a maximum of 8 additional business days.

8. Security and retention

We protect your data with reasonable security measures and keep it only for as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law.

9. Cookies

This site does not use its own advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded YouTube videos may use Google cookies under their own policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will publish any change here with its update date.

This policy has been in effect since November 3, 2026.
